Working with Diverse Communities
The team at West Yorkshire Liver Care ODN, believe that equitable healthcare begins with meaningful engagement. Our commitment to diverse communities is woven into every aspect of our work from how we deliver liver health checks to how we listen, learn, and adapt.
Inclusive Outreach
We actively partner with community organisations, faith groups, and cultural leaders to co-design liver health initiatives that reflect the lived experiences of the people we serve. Whether it’s a pop-up clinic in a place of worship or a health check at a local festival, we meet communities where they are physically, culturally, and emotionally.

Strengthening our commitment to equity
Ngozi’s appointment marks an important step in our ongoing work to reduce inequalities in liver care. By expanding our peer team, we are ensuring that support is informed by diverse perspectives and lived experience not just clinical pathways.
A message from Ngozi
“I joined The Hepatitis C Trust to help ensure that people from diverse communities feel seen, heard, and supported.
