Forward Leeds, the city’s alcohol and drug service, will celebrate 10 years of supporting individuals and communities across Leeds with a series of Open House events this summer.
To mark a decade of delivering vital services, Forward Leeds is inviting the public behind the scenes for a unique opportunity to learn more about its work, meet the team, and hear first-hand from those whose lives have been changed.
Forward Leeds Service Director Helen Cook said: “These events are a chance for us to say thank you to the people of Leeds and show the real impact of our work.
“Whether you’re a local resident, a professional, or someone interested in the work we do, we’d love for you to come along and see how we’re making a difference.”
Each Open House session will include:
- A talk from the local Area Manager on how Leeds has progressed in tackling substance use over the past decade.
- Personal stories from people who have received life-changing support from Forward Leeds.
- Guided tours of the hubs showing how the service delivers effective, compassionate care.
- The opportunity to talk to dedicated staff members about their roles, experiences, and what motivates them every day.
Forward Leeds will host six events across its three main treatment hubs on the 15, 16 and 17 July. Each event is free to attend, but registration is required.
