Day 3 of the Love Your Liver Roadshow brought both sunshine and strong community engagement as temperatures climbed at the Flair Stadium in Dewsbury. The warm weather helped create a welcoming atmosphere, and steady footfall throughout the day meant plenty of opportunities to connect with local residents.
Across the first three days, the team has now engaged with nearly 400 members of the public, demonstrating the strong appetite for accessible liver health checks and the impact of bringing these services directly into communities.
The mobile unit continued to draw interest, with many visitors stopping by once they realised how quick and straightforward the screening process was. As with previous days, feedback highlighted how valuable people find the informal, approachable setting. Residents appreciated the chance to speak with the team, ask questions, and gain a clearer understanding of their liver health without needing an appointment.
Dewsbury delivered another productive and well-received day, keeping momentum high as we move into the final stretch of the roadshow.
Thursday marks the last day of the tour, with the team heading to Bradford at the Bartercard Odsal Stadium. With strong engagement so far, we’re looking forward to another successful day supporting local communities with vital liver health awareness and screening.
