The West Yorkshire Liver Care ODN team attended the Innovation through Collaboration Conference 2026, hosted by the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Cancer Alliance and we’re delighted to share that we’ve won an award.
Held at Elland Road in Leeds on Tuesday 2 June, the conference celebrated ‘Innovation through Collaboration: Shaping the Future of Cancer Care’. The event brought together partners from across the region to focus on improving outcomes for people affected by cancer, both clinically and through enhanced patient experience.
The day featured a series of presentations exploring how to tackle health inequalities, develop cancer pathways, strengthen patientâcentred care and harness cuttingâedge innovation to improve cancer outcomes.
As part of the programme, an awards ceremony recognised individuals, teams and projects making a meaningful difference to patient experience across West Yorkshire and Harrogate.
Our Community Liver Health Checks team was nominated in two categories:
- Most Impactful Poster
- Most Impactful Innovation Award – Pan System
We are proud to announce that the team won the Most Impactful Poster award, receiving high praise from the judges and achieving an almost perfect score. This recognition reflects our commitment to raising awareness of liver health and empowering the public with the knowledge and actions needed to improve their wellbeing. We are incredibly proud of the team and grateful for this acknowledgement of our work.
