Congratulations to CGL and Recovery Steps on being joint winners of the West Yorkshire Liver Care ODN World Hepatitis Day competition.
Local providers were asked to enter the competition with a display, which could be static or portable, to raise awareness of Hepatitis C and promote testing at their local service. The display was aimed at staff, clients, or both, but had to have a focus on Hepatitis C.
Recovery Steps in Calderdale submitted their display board encouraging clients to take a cake and a Hep C testing kit, all aimed at continuing their achievement of micro-elimination.
While joint winners CGL submitted a video entry, which played in their reception area on the lead-up to World Hepatitis Day on Sunday 28 July.
Both teams encouraged people to get tested, get treated and get cured!
The teams will both be awarded a £200 prize, which can be spent on events linked to Hepatitis C in the winning services.
